Arctic Smash Game Review

Arctic Smash

The title of this game pretty much sums it up, you will smash yourself for sure! Arctic Smash takes the path of the super difficult/hard to beat games. The goal here is to decend down a snowy mountain without hitting anything in your path. To be fair it is very difficult to master, however addictive and fun to play.

When you jump in the game you start off with a tutorial, thankfully you can skip it and still be able to play the game without any problems. The controls consist of simply tapping the screen to change direction while snowboarding down the mountain. The main goal is to avoid trees, buildings and pretty much anything in your way to keep sliding down the mountain. It is a visually beautiful game, with graphics that suit exactly the tone it wants to deliver. You will find that it is quite simple, mainly targeted towards quick sessions, without too much thought. Once you master the tapping and the movement of your character the rest will seem easy. There are many options to choose from, such as day and night, uphill or downhill modes, lots of levels or infinite running. The infinite game is different in comparison to the levels mode as far as the controls and gameplay. You still get to slide down the mountain, however this time you touch and drag the screen to move your character around obstacles. In addition, the soundtrack is great as well, it makes sliding down the mountain much more relaxing and enjoyable. I would like to see more variety, maybe the option to unlock characters, missions and maybe upgrades?

I definitely enjoyed playing Arctic Smash, simply because I was able to pick it up for a minute or two without thinking too much. It is perfect at that and I recommend you try it out as well!
